We had a short week last week and have another one next week. Some new things we introduced last week included the printing formation, sound, and action for the letter “O,” how to translate patterns, what it means to fill a bucket, and Superflex! This coming week we will learn our last set of red letters. Students should be practicing these words at home as they are expected to know them (and others) by the November reporting card period. Also, please make sure all library books are returned by WEDNESDAY with our new library schedule. Students not returning books will not be allowed to take new books out and an overdue notice will be sent home from the library. Also, we are still doing “Feed the Bug.” Non-perishable food items can be brought up to our class between now and October 28. A box is at the top of the stairs to leave them. Please practice “giving back” to our community and ethical citizenship with your children whenever possible.
