This week we continued learning about the season fall, despite it starting to feel like winter! We are continuing to practice logging into our computers and have about half of our class seeing success. In math, we are almost done our pattern unit. In language arts we worked on our letters “d, m, and g,” worked on becoming authors and learning that stories are more than just parts (house, girl, boy, forest, etc). Students also challenged red and orange lollipop words. Please continue to work with your children on practicing these sight words. As per my Remind message this week, our class continues to struggle with making good choices and we are spending a lot of time talking about kindness and respect. Next week we will start talking about filling others buckets. Please have these conversations at home too. Home reading has started! Yay! A letter went out in addition to the books and reading log. Please contact me with questions. Our turkey art went home today, although there were a few students who did not manage to get finished. They are encouraged to finish it at home! Lastly, we started our enrichment today. Ask your child about their enrichment group and what they are working on!
