We had a very short week with District PD and Remembrance Day.
The sounds, actions, and songs we worked on this week were "ee, or, and z." We also practiced printing the letter "z" and the numbers 1 and 2. In math we played Go Fish and Sorting games with our ten frames as we continue to learn to subitize. We practiced our Daily 2 (read to self and work on writing) and our working to improve our stamina and become more independent. We also talked a lot about Remembrance Day, including why we where a poppy and what peace means.
Important for Next Week:
Division I is on the rock wall playground starting on Monday.
November 14: Hanzel and Gretel Opera (Galbraith Gymnasium) 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Hot Lunch Order Deadline 10:00 p.m.
November 15: Parent Early Literacy Workshop (Galbraith Gymnasium) 6:15 p.m.
I hope to see you all there!!
November 16: Library Books Due
November 18: Report Cards Go Home
I hope you and yours had a chance to reflect today on what really matters in this world and to remember those who sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for us to live in this wonderful country. Lest we forget.
